Park Shadows Apartments Review

Initially you will believe to have found your dream apartment. This neighborhood is not safe therefore Park Shadows seems to be the best alternative to the violent street crime of Avondale or the expensive rents in other areas of Goodyear. The convenience to I-10 and major shopping is certainly a selling point. The quaint tree lined streets and tranquil atmosphere make you feel like you are going back in time. Until your neighbors are arguing and you can hear every word through the asbestos filled walls. The gated entry is also wonderful until the gate malfunctions and hits your vehicle or your key card does not work. Both scenarios have happened on several occasions. The outer fence does not stop crime, there is still a continuous flow of police activity within Park Shadows. Cars will follow you in the gate. You will appreciate the nightly wake up from the loud noises caused by tow trucks racing over the speed bumps repossessing neighbors vehicles. Hopefully you dont come home late at night because you dont ever know when your outdoor lights will work or not. The complex turns pitch black where even the brightest flashlight cant guide you to your back gate.

With dozens of evictions already processed in 2017, Park Shadows is a wonderful place to call your temporary home. Advertisements show "free" basic cable until a $27 fee is added to your rent for it. I have my own package with COX, do not watch TV and still get charged the $27 per month. I was threatened with eviction if I did not pay it. Your monthly CAM fees and service charges will constantly change. You are charged real estate taxes that are not correct. Each month your bills will rise significantly including $300+ electric bills when your hot water and stove are gas! Beware of false advertising and tricky wording in your lease. You may think you found a new place to call home. In reality for most of us it seems to be a temporary address until the fresh wears off revealing half witted attempts of repairs.
